Description
Extensive research has been developed to advance computational tools for smart cities. Researchers have focused on data mining and machine learning techniques for more efficient and pleasant cities. For example, data acquired by imaging cameras distributed along a city square can be used to analyze its occupation using dashboards and estimate future occupations based on machine learning models to support better decision-making regarding people and property security.
The main goal of the “3rd Workshop on Data Mining and Machine Learning in Smart Cities - WDMMLSC 2025” is to bring together researchers involved in related fields, such as Data Analytics, Pattern Recognition, Prediction and Simulation, or Software Development, to set the major trends of development for the near future.
The WDMMLSC 2025 workshop will consist of researchers representing various fields related to Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Signal Processing, Computational Vision, Informatics, Statistics, Management, Architecture, Smart Cities, City Authorities, Policy Makers, etc., and endeavors to contribute to achieving better solutions for more efficient and pleasant cities and attempts to establish a bridge between researchers from diverse fields.

Paper submission and formatting guidelines
We invite academics and professionals to submit original papers to contribute to a practical and rich discussion around the WDMMLSC 2025 workshop topics.
A double-blind peer review process will be followed to evaluate the submitted papers. This means that submissions should not include any information that allows for the identification of the authors, including e-mail, affiliation, or references to previous authors' publications. This information should only be made available in the final version of the paper upon acceptance for presentation and publication. Should the authors need to include one or more references to previous work, this should appear in the bibliography section as “Self Reference” and be later replaced by the original reference upon acceptance of the paper.

All papers must follow the formatting rules of CISTI’25 and be written in Portuguese, Spanish, or English. An MS Word template is available at: https://cisti.eu/index.php/en/submission.

Papers should be submitted in PDF. However, the final version submitted after acceptance for publication should be in MS Word format.

Papers can be submitted at https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=cisti2025workshops, selecting the WDMMLSC 2025 workshop.
