Scope

The Adaptive and Continual Learning for Intelligent Healthcare Systems (ACL-IHS 2026) workshop provides a forum for researchers and practitioners to discuss emerging trends in artificial intelligence and machine learning for healthcare applications. The primary focus is on models capable of adapting to new data and clinical scenarios over time—minimizing the problem of catastrophic forgetting and improving real-time learning in medical contexts. The workshop aims to bring together experts from computer science, biomedical engineering, and healthcare domains to exchange ideas, present new methods, and share experiences that promote the development of sustainable and adaptive AI systems for healthcare, including seizure prediction, cardiovascular analysis, and remote patient monitoring.
